Disaster averted! I don't have to start my MLS fandom under strike.
The MLS and the MLS Players Union reached an agreement on a CBA and the regular season will still begin this Friday as scheduled.
There is a lot that goes into this and other people will explain it much better.
Basically, free agency is still under heavy restrictions and the league minimum salary wasn't raised as much as the players wanted. Doesn't matter.
