Gettin' Jeffy Wit It / Tito's Cannon (Week 30) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

Two more goals at the Benz, one for Tito and one for Jeff Larentowicz, helped Atlanta United to a 2-0 win and a new record for goals in a season for an expansion club (62). With the Union coming to town, hopped on two Philly area tracks to recap the victory: Will Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and DJ Drama's "Cannon"

A back and forth game vs. Orlando resulted in a 3-3 draw. And 70k+ fans were there to see it, setting a new MLS attendance record. Jumped on two different Compton rap beats (since the upcoming match is against L.A.) for the recap.

Some Way, Somehow (Week 25 game 2) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

Apparently, the third time isn't always the charm. Rough 1-0 loss to D.C. on Wednesday resulting in a season sweep. And this from the eastern conference's last-place team. Borrowed a somber track by Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel to recap the loss. Trying to stay optimistic.

One City at a Time (Week 21) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

Big 1-0 road win in the first-ever meeting against Orlando City. Guzan earned 'save of the week' honors in his first start in stripes. And Tito's rocket earned 'goal of the week'. So yeah, it was a good week. Up next: rematch for the last game at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Is Kenwyne on his way out?

Atlanta United tweeted this preview of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium locker room earlier and with the exclusion of "Jones 9" in the mix I'm convinced Kenwyne Jones is getting moved during this transfer window.

Or maybe inactives just didn't get staged for the photo op. Mark Bloom, Alec Kann and Jacob Peterson are a couple you don't see either.

But why would they are about who's in the 18 this week? They don't even play in the Benz until  September.

Or maybe the lack of Atlanta United transfer rumors has me overthinking it.

Headin' Down to Florida (Week 20) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

After a brief break, back at it for week 20 @ Orlando City. Features highlights from the incredible 4-2 win over San Jose on July 4th. Original song: Up Down - T. Pain (of Florida) feat. B.o.B (of Atlanta)

Conquer the Quakes (Week 19) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

After a much needed 2-0 road win over Columbus, we're back home to face San Jose in a 4th of July showdown. Borrowed Bay-area rapper Tupac's hit "California Love" and Ludacris' "Welcome to Atlanta" for this week's rap recap.

Week 18 - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

DOUBLE TROUBLE

We Got Miami (Open Cup, week 18) - Atlanta United

Outlasted the defensive Colorado Rapids for our 4th straight home win behind a 2nd half goal from Josef Martinez. Another mid-week match ahead, this time at Miami FC in the U.S. Open Cup round of 16. Jumped on Trick Daddy's 2005 single "Sugar (Gimme Some)". Trick Daddy is from Miami, and the original song features Atlanta artists Cee-Lo and Ludacris.

We Tried (Back to MLS, week 18)

A heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Miami FC on Wednesday to end our Open Cup run. But hey, we tried. Now it's back to MLS for an away match against Columbus Crew. Borrowed the track "I Tried" by Ohio's own Bone Thugs 'n Harmony for this entry in the rap recap series (please excuse my Akon impression).

Week 17 - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

DOUBLE TROUBLE

DPs Turned It Up (Week 17)
Nice win at home last week, taking down Columbus Crew 3–1 behind 1 goal from each of our designated players. Up next: D.C. United at their place for a midweek game, followed by Colorado at home this weekend. Borrowed a 2011 track by Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame, which features fellow Atlantan Roscoe Dash and D.C./DMV rapper Wale.

Rocky Mountain High (Week 17 game 2)

Very disappointing loss @ D.C. United. But it's a double game week! So we're back at home to face Colorado. Chopped up John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High" with some 808s for the second rap recap of week 17.

Let's Get Us A Win (Week 16) - Conair [Kickin' it with ATL UTD] #RapRecap

Never thought I'd be talking Shad Moss, aka Lil' Bow Wow, on this site unless it was regarding an old Getty image of LBB and Freddy Adu on a Nickelodeon red carpet but here we are.

Bow Wow has Columbus ties, hence the "Fresh Azimiz" cover choice. This is a delightful surprise and maybe a new take on the #BowWowChallenge.

Highlights: Atlanta United does not look good against Chicago Fire

This Atlanta United/Chicago Fire highlight video is about four minutes too long but at least we get a Josef Martinez sighting.
