Any week Tommy Wears Copas finishes over the league average is a win in Coke So White's book.
Last week it was trouble everywhere, especially the defense. Luckily Round 9 was not heavy on D and TWC got a double game weeks out of Matt Miazga and Axel Sjoberg.
This week Jeb Brovsky ($6.5M) had to be let go in favor of Jack Jewsbury ($6M) who has a DGW coming up. Going ahead and getting him rostered. No one else on the LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, Real Salt Lake or San Jose Earthquakes was very tempting for the price.
Why do I have three Portland Timbers on the roster though?
Lloyd Sam fell off his fast pace so his $8.9M was swapped for Chris Rolfe who's been having a solid year and also has a DGW around the corner.
Here's where I don't understand myself. Took a -4 pt hit to pick up Gabriel Torres ($7.5M), the Colorado Rapids forward. The SECOND Rapids forward now on the roster. He is $0.7M less that Tesho Akindele, whom I dropped and seems to have been pushed out by Mauro Diaz, but Torres just had a DGW. Oh well.
